You might be right but I think they completely clean house this off season. A new coach would have a couple of years to rebuild. No expectations right off the bat. Could be a great job. I like Boise's coach for this job or maybe Patterson.

IF Petrino's buyout didnt exist theres only a handful I think he would leave for: usc, ohio state, michigan, penn state, ou, texas, fl state

but the buyout does exist, and no one is paying 15-20 million for him unless he wins a national championship. so its win win for us

I said last year that I thought the only jobs Petrino would leave us for at this point in time would be tOSU, Penn St or Texas. Suprisingly two of the three opened up this year and Texas still possibly could. We've gotten past the tOSU hurdle but the other two are still out there.

Doesn't Petrino have some huge arse buyout? So no on him and YES on Saban. That mother fricker would coach the BREC league in Baton Rouge for an extra $100 a year.

petrino has a mutual $18m buyout that goes down a couple mil a year. also has a non-compete for all SEC teams
