True...but its just fricking embarrasing to include him in the convo and not be talking about a championship in the same post

Can we throw in Brandon Jacobs for our trio?

Oh yeah... I remember when they ran all over us one year. They were damn good.

As of the pre-season this year no, not IMO. But by the end of the year, who knows. There are some really good starter backs and some guys that have tremendous ability behind them.

McFad/Jones has been the best Duo in the SEC for the last 10-15 years. UT had some damn good RB duos in the mid 90's

I bet USC fans would give them the vote

Especially with Mcfadden in the group. He rolled their asses

Yes they were, wasn't Cobb on one of those teams with them?

Would have loved to to have seen them in the wishbone. It's not like we had much of a passing game.

Closest thing we came to it was the "Racehorse" or whatever it was called with McFadden in shotgun running the triple option with Jones and Hillis.

He was definitely a beast, but wasn't he there with the other two for only one year? I'm going with full body of work for my vote.

I'm dreaming of our current WR group, with the 06/07 backfield trio, with Matt MF'n Jones at QB.

I like to think of what Malzahn could have done with Matt Jones, McFadden, Jones, and Hillis if they were all coaching/playing at Arkansas at the same time. I think we would have won at least one SECC.

edit: assuming Nutt would let Malzahn run the show.

Give us anyone besides pre-Petrino Casey Dick and we likely woulda won an SECCG. The 06 Florida game very well could have been ours with him, if Reggie Fish didn't kill our momentum.

We wouldn't even have to play defense.

Webb is the most talented RB I've ever seen at Tennessee, by far. He is an elite NFL back without his off the field problems.

Maybe not but there are two other threads that were also started by Hog fans on this subject:

Nutt does more with less (Greatest backfield ever)

Better SEC RB combo?

At least you guys are consistent with your bragging!
