Is the strike zone getting lower and lower again?

Seems like a few years ago in the majors it had gotten so low that they wanted to raise it back up a bit. But I've seen a couple of umps in this CWS that's calling strikes just above the ankles.

It sure looks like it.

The very next pitch after the Vandy home run was at the shins and the ump called it a strike.

Yes, I've been saying this the entire CWS, but most have disagreed with me. Some of the best pitching performances have been pitchers living off called strikes below the knee.

Obviously not low enough for Michigan. They were out of that 3 run inning if the ump gives em that third strike with the bases juiced.

Key word is "give." That pitch was not a strike. It was mid-shin at highest.
