For many teams it's actually easier to reload than it was previously. If you have the resources to retain your talent, then you really get to take advantage of the portal to fill any needs that cant be filled in house.

Is that what Texas did last 3 or so years?

It has contributed to the success. I attribute NIL as a main factor for why Texas football turned itself around.

And he was still decent, probably even above average.
It's ridiculous that you spoiled crybabies try to pretend this dude was Payton Thorne or something.
You are dumb. I would have taken some of the worst Alabama QBs over the past 40 years over Milroe. It would be a tough decision between Milroe and Spencer Pennington even.
Give me Jake Coker, who I think lasted a week as an undrafted free agent over Milroe. Blake Sims who didn't even make it as undrafted free agent and got cut in the CFL over Milroe.
What's ridiculous is that you keep propping him up because he clowned on LSU and Kelly multiple years. Which is more because Kelly is too stupid to watch film and make use of it.

What you would or wouldn't do really has no bearing. Your coaches felt like Milroe gave them the best chance to win.
The numbers say he was better at Alabama than the guys you mentioned, although Sims had a better season I believe.
Career Passer Rating
Milroe 156.8
Sims 155.2
Pennington 104.3

That’s why he props him up. The greater he can make Milroe seem, the less it looks like BK is a shite coach because Milroe gaped him two years in a row.
It’s all an elaborate cover for BK

Coker had a passer rating of 143.9

I never said anything about who started or the coaches decision, so I don't know why you keep repeating that. In my original post I laid out the fact the QB room wasn't in great shape due to 4 OC in 5 years.
Nor do I care about a stat like "Career Passer Rating" without context. I know what they did, I watched them. I'm taking Sims from that group.

I would as well, 2014 Sims was better than 2024 Milroe although Sims wasn't asked to carry the offense as much as Milroe.
