Carl Lee will make sure that justice is served. Ain't gonna let no Bammer judge get in the way.

If he's found innocent, I'm fully expecting some Rodney King style riots in Auburn.

for what it is worth, I do feel bad for the barners, this guy just took this a wee tad too far

A wee tad? This guy is a fricking nut case to do something like this. Rivalry is one thing but this guy is a fricking criminal. What if this poison has somehow found its way into the water supply and it actually harms people instead of trees?

I don't think he should serve time for this as long as people are not injured but he should lose everything he has in a civil trial against the university after his criminal trial is over.

This guy is an idiot.

No argument there scoop, I just wasn't all piss and vinegar yet this morning when I wrote the post. Now that I'm all rawled up, I would probably go with something more along the lines of: "that numbnut has pushed the line WAY beyond rivalry. He not only destroyed landmarks but he endangered people by using 100X's what would be necessary to kill a tree & possibly contaminating a water supply"
As far as serving time, they better make sure the punishment fits the crime because if the barners ain't happy with the ruling, this thing could go on & on until something really bad happens-meaning to people (not statues or trees).
