Is Texas taking Bama’s spot as the NCAA “protected” team?

I have seen many calls go their way this year. The no call targeting was about as bad as some of the NFL’s infamous calls/no calls and very reminiscent of how the SEC/NCAA protected Alabama. Let’s have a cordial conversation about this if anyone has any input.

Sounds like complaining to me
Complaining is weak.

Taken their spot? They have always gotten called like this since 1902.. why do you think so many old SWC teams have terrible records against them? Why do you think so many teams ran from them when they got the chance?
The Tom foolery that we see from Bama at times is nothing compared to what you are going to see with Texas. We warned you, get ready to get bent year in and year out.

Y'all act like the no call sealed the game. ASU's ability to punch in for a score was no certainty.

The momentum of the game had been completely shifted at that point. ASI was moving the ball and scoring TDs. They were robbed, and Texas will get theirs. They are not very good.

Well if you watch enough college football you'll know anything can happen.

We will see if the NCAA can keep pushing them along.
