hardly....there was a time in my life where I never thought i would see LSU win a championship. I've been fortunate to see them win 2 now. I am very realistic and realize I may never see another one. After going through the 90's, I can appreciate a 10-2 season almost as much as a 12-0.
I can only imagine and hope for something similar. It's been fun watching LSU over the past decade.
That said. It's on!

Actually, if you look at the posts, most Aggies are saying 7-5 or 8-4. You act as if the 20+ pages is full of Aggies saying we will take the West.

My original outlook on the season was 5-7. Now I am thinking 6-6 or 7-5.

Well, since VC has been a ghost for the past two weeks, I thought I'd drag this back to the top....just to remind him/her of our wager.

Same here. We are doing better than I thought. And yes...an upset against LSU is believable.

Yeah I thought we'd be good to go 6-6 at start of the season.. looking more like 8-4 give or take.

You do realize that LSU scored even less against Florida, right?

Pounded 1-3 SMU and 1-3 South Carolina St (who lost to Bethune Cookman),
You did see how we performed against our rent-a-wins, right? Towson ring a bell?

I think they are just about to get theirs
You're a little too cocky. Our defense is awesome but we have hardly given any other SEC school "theirs".
Now, it could be that every SEC team gives us their best game. Probably some truth to that.
But I think this game will be much closer than you think. I give the Aggies a 40% shot at winning.
Weeks ago, I said I thought we'd lose to either Florida or Carolina. Check. I also said we'd lose to Bama. But first we've got to take care of business. This game can't be called a trap game because A&M has the same record. But we definitely could get caught looking ahead. This is the biggest game in College Station in some time. They'll be ready for us.
ETA: Dammit. Just noticed this thread is 2 1/2 weeks old. Damn Aggie bumped it.

Lets put it this way about Tamu.
Mizzou would probably have the same record as them right now.
Not saying both teams are on the same level right now, Tamu has a lot more things going for them this year than Mizzou, who have played terrible at times while Tamu has been pretty consistently solid, not great but solid.
But the records would probably be the same.

You realize you are going to play Kentucky for claims to the worst team in the SEC right?

Mizzou has a pretty good chance to be 6-5 going into the TAMU game. This off week couldn't have come at a better time for you guys.

You can make whatever lazy fan comment you want...
What I said was pretty rational. Its not even close to crazy to think Mizzou would have the same record as Tamu right now with their schedule. And I said its not an indication that we are as good as Tamu.. but just shows their record is really no indication of how good they may or may not be.

You lost to Vanderbilt at home 19-15. Let that sit for a second. You lost to VANDERBILT...AT HOME.
If Missouri had played our schedule:
Florida - LOSS
SMU - WIN
SCSU - WIN
Arkansas - LOSS
Ole Miss - LOSS
Louisiana Tech - LOSS
You'd be 2-4.

I would give them Arkansas, at least on the week we played A&M. Now, not so much.

Ok, 3-3 then. Still not 5-1.

Arizona St. is in the Top 25, their only loss to Mizzou.

we're an injury away from being mizzou.
I expect this game to go a lot like the Florida game....
