As of today, no.
They beat three teams with a combined 3 wins. Their only good competition outcoached them and shut them out the last half of the game.
That frosh QB may be good but he hasnt played on the road yet.

We don't have depth on the DL. But the DL is also the most surprising unit this year.

btw...you had one upset in overtime over LSU....what is the talk about all of these legendary upsets.....? Sad when the elite teams point to conference championships, and Arkansas points to beating LSU.........yet you guys wanted to be accepted as elite before the season started, despite NEVER winning said conference championship.

Based on what we've seen this year, there's nothing suggesting we're a bad team. Conversely, given how we've beaten our opponents -- that is, how we should -- it's much easier to claim we're a pretty decent squad.

I'm just curious as to what A&M potential y'all are referring to. I see most optimistic Aggies putting us at 8-4 if the ball bounces right. Even VC put that at 7-5. Where is the majority of our fanbase out of whack?

I do think your team is better than everyone thought it would be. I also have to admit I really like Sumlin and JFF. I also will reserve judgment on claiming the eternal football throne until you beat a better team than us.

Aside from those flaming and the few who are probably just straight up delusional, I think your above statement is exactly how most of us feel.

I honestly haven't seen many Aggies concede 8-4, I have seen the majority say that is your floor.

I will admit though, I was one of the hogs biggest critics, predicting 8-4 this year. I was laughed off the message board by some of your more delusional fans...but hell, even I was far wrong. I did qualify my prediction saying if the team quit it could be much uglier though.

Prior to the start of the season, many Aggies were not sure if we'd even get to a bowl this year. The excitement you see isn't us thinking we're going to run the SEC West, it's mere happiness that we actually have a decent team. As another poster said, it isn't delusion to adjust expectations from 6-6 to 8-4. Yes, some fans run wild with it...I'm sure that's not just relegated to the A&M fanbase.
