Yeah, yeah, we lost. Worst loss since 1992, I get it.

But I just want to know if the kid is alright, because I can't find anything updated.

Kody Walker, too? Anything?

don't know about Walker but reading that Mitchell may have broken a vertebrae in his back. not confirmed though.

Someone on RT says he was moving at the hospital. Don't know how legit that info is because he said he got it second hand.

I'm guessing there was a big hit, but I haven't seen a replay or anything. How did it happen? Hope he's okay.

helmet to helmet hit with a teammate both going in for a tackle. looked a lot like the hit the Tulane kid took.

Helmet to helmet, pretty similar to the Tulane player injury.

Tevin Mitchell and Alonzo Highsmith collided on a tackle.

Tevin was motionless on the field, and it took them a good 10 minutes to get him on to the stretcher. They couldn't even get his helmet off of his head.

I heard all three were taken to the hospital.

One with a bad concussion, one with a concussion/ broke neck, one with a torn Achilles...?

Yeah, that Tulane one looked rough. Hope both kids are okay. Really sad.

They won't take your helmet off, or clothes/etc until they can stabilize you at the hospital, then they cut off what can be cut off.

I was strapped to a back board and medivac'd away from the scene a few months back. That backboard is pure fricking hell.

I took a lot of pleasure in Arky's loss but it was hard to watch all the injuries. I hope and pray that your players will be okay. It was hard to watch Mitchell being carted off the field.

I guess what I meant was that the injury was bad enough that they were having to take him to the hospital to be stabilized.

Jesus christ what a bad night.

They do that as a precaution, I had skull fractures (one blew out allowing the pressure to escape, saved my life), a really bad concussion (lost consciousness like he did, but longer). Any who they thought I broke several vertebrae in my neck and back so I was stabilized until it was confirmed one way or the other (no fractures there). I was strapped to that backboard for hours, worst experience of my life.

Wow.

So, what could potentially be the best case scenario? Could it be that it was just a really bad stinger?

I want him to be able to walk and go back to playing like normal.

Best case, he just had a really bad concussion, I briefly couldn't more my legs when I had mine. I never lost feeling, just ability to control.

If he broke a vertebrae, he's done for the year. May be ready this time next year.

Elton Ford broke his neck and later played.
