Lou Holtz was on a local radio station here in Missouri yesterday and he said that South Carolina is even better than Georgia.
We really won't know until the 2 teams play but keep in mind that Holtz coached for a number of years at SC; as such he does not have an objective perspective. My view is that UGA and SC are pretty evenly matched with Georgia probably having a somewhat better offense while SC might have a better defense. Regardless, I fully expect a competitive game between SC and Missouri. Goooooo Tigers!!!

When Tree and Rambo get back our defense will be just as good as LSU or bama.

I just don't think SC's defense is better than ours, especially not in october when we're full strength.

Aaaaaaand you just proved you don't know what you're talking about. We gave up 14 to FAU, before our 3rd string QB threw a pick 6 late in the 4th when it was 56-14.
Tune in to the UT game when we're full strength, I really hope you watch because you're going to see a much better defense than what you think we have.

That was due to:
1)Playing vanilla as frick, I think we blitzed about 3 or 4 times the whole game
2)Having, literally, our 3 best defensive players out. Take Clowney, that other good DL, and whoever your 3rd best defensive player is out of the game against a scrub and yall will probably give up some points too.

Ok, we had been prepping for months for missouri and only installed gameplan for buffalo for about 4 days. One of our defensive players was doing an interview 2 weeks before the season started talking about scout team work and accidentally mentioned prepping for "franklin". We could beat buffalo with our 2nd string, we didn't need to beat them 50-0 to prove a point, the missou game was always more important.
And we did win by 3 touchdowns..

I guess we will see but I haven't been impressed so far with the product we have put on the field against some very weak teams, not including Missouri who has a pretty decent offense. Our vaunted defense allowed 200 rushing yards and 23 points vs Buffalo and 20 points and 183 passing yards against Florida Atlantic. Yea, I know we didn't have our suspended players but suspensions are part of the routine at UGA so our team is what is without them.
