Wasn't necessarily aimed at you. It just seems like that has to be reiterated a lot.

I think ol' Freeze is drilling holes in his paddle for the West this year. I hope I'm wrong, but I'm not looking forward to that game.

After New Mexico State last year Brandon Harris looked like Randall Cunningham and LSU looked like an offensive juggernaut. We won't know anything about Ole Miss until next weekend.

They have looked good but both teams they played are not even close to SEC level competition

The same can be said of Bama opponents so far...it is safe to assume that Bama hasn't seen anything remotely close to what they will face against Ole Miss either. wouldn't you agree?

I have watched both OM games and they could have easily scored over 100 points both times. They have had their back-up QBs under center in the second quarter in both games.

You sir get a gold star.

Pump the brakes man.

Actually, with today's ABS technology, it is recommended that one does NOT 'pump the brakes' but instead apply the brake firmly and with constant pressure.

If they walk into BDS and leave with a 10+ point win, just go ahead and give them the SEC trophy and a playoff slot because they'll slaughter LSU and anyone else even worse.

...or you could just fricking cut the brake line and freewheel it down the mountain, I guess.

Not really. Look, Wisconsin isn't an NFL team but they would steamroll each team OM has played by 30 plus points. They will win 10 games this year in a power5 conference. They beat Auburn last year and took LSU to the wire the year before. So yeah I think they count as SEC caliber, even though not in the top end of the conference.

I'm also not so sure MTSU doesn't beat the two teams OM has played. We will all find out what both teams are made of Saturday night. I actually would pick OM to win it at this point, but the truth is OM is completely untested at this point...may be a championship team or may be a straw man.

No way to tell with competition so far
Putting up 70 two weeks in a row is impressive though.
They will find out this weekend in Tuscaloosa.

did I touch a nerve?

do you disagree with the fact that Ole Miss hasn't played anyone (UT Martin and Fresno St) that would allow people to give a legitimate assesment here?

If so, please explain....

I feel quite confident that Ole Miss would destroy Wisconsin by 30 plus points, so it evens out I reckon. You never answered my question, so I will ask again...would you agree that Bama hasn't faced anything close to an offense as potent as Ole Miss this season?

Wisconsin lost the game against Alabama before it even started. Even through 3 coaches in 3 years, their identity as a one dimensional running team has not changed a bit. Good luck beating Alabama's front 7 on your very first game after losing first-rounder Melvin Gordon and 2 All-Americans on the OL. If they're SEC Caliber right now under Paul Chryst in his first year, at best they're a "7-5 or 8-4 in the East" Caliber team, and that's even with an Auburn-esque dream season where absolutely everything just happens to go their way.

They're definitely good.Because of the Athletes they have.

They may be the best Team,if not the best Defense Bama plays. It may be to Bama's advantage to catch them early in the Season.Maybe not.

We'll see Saturday.I've been waiting all off-season for a game like this to come around.

Good luck to Ole Miss.May the best Team win.
