Yes Coach Saban is a Christian. He reads his Bible Daily.
His favorite Bible Story..Is The Parting of the Red Sea. He sees that in his thinking as Parting the SEC and making it RED.
He also enjoys this verse; Ezekiel 20 v 29 "And I said unto them What is THE HIGH PLACE whereunto you go? And the name therof is called BAMAH unto this day".

Saban and Meyer are both Catholics. Both want to coach at ND, but ND is waiting for Saban and/or Meyer's negative reputations to get better with time (if ever) before hiring them.

So basically what you are saying is that the University of Alabama and the University of Florida are purgatory...

I don't personally believe any School wanting a winning program would care if The Coach was a Catholic..Baptist..Hare Krisna..Buddhist..or a Towel Head..(er..Muslim) Mike Shula was also a Catholic like Saban look at the difference between those two..

It's my understanding that Saban is the reincarnation of Bear Bryant who was the reincarnation of Jesus Christ, well that is what Bama fans tell me.

I've seen him walk on water so I would say he is pretty religous.
