Franklin and it's not even close. In a normal year, I'd pick Muschamp or Sumlin...but James Franklin has now gone to back to back bowls...with Vanderbilt and has the potential for 9 wins...with VANDERBILT.

If you take a 6-6 Big XII team and convert it into a 10-2 SEC team, you win.

Sumlin or Franklin. Freeze really didn't do all that much

Franklin and Muschamp deserve the most considertaion.

No problem with Sumlin and Freeze getting considered.

Don't overlook what Miles did. LSU was desimated this year and still won 10 games.

Hands down Franklin and Freeze. Everything people have already mentioned about Vandy. He is shattering records that have been held since the the early and mid 1900s. Freeze, with only really the addition of Bo Wallace took a team that went 2-10 two years in a row and they are going bowling. And honestly Freeze could and probably should have beaten A&M and Vandy. You can tell the lack of depth hurt OM in those games.

I'd personally go with Muschamp and Sumlin as co-coach of the year. Franklin has a good argument to win too.

No ... I think Summlin but you could argue for Freeze or Franklin as well

Staying king of the hill is not easy.

It is when you play Tennessee and Missouri from the east and you lose your biggest home game of the season.

The only reason Alabama is in the national title discussion is because Florida was able to care of a team that Bama couldn't. Florida beating Texas A&M is the only thing keeping TAMU from playing UGA instead.

You're welcome.

Sumlin - Noone could have predicted A&M this year, especially given the massive changes on both sides of the ball
Freeze - OM was way better than expected, and their recruiting is improving
Franklin - going to get some big time offers this offseason

All are deserving, and it will be interesting to see what happens

No one could have predicted UF's turn-around either. Not having Boom on your list shows your lingering hate for him from his time at big brother's house.

I think you can make an equally compelling argument for Sumlin, Franklin, Boom, and Freeze.
