Yes and add 385 dollars per seat for the ticket on top of the donation.
The poster that is talking about the club tickets is right about that. The price varies and there is no way of knowing. The website says they start at 2000 dollars.

I got you. The upper west has chairbacks, but no direct club access. The middle deck, or middle level whatever it is, right underneath, is for the Ivory Club. I wouldn't know how many seats that is. The stadium club can be accessed from anywhere in the stadium you sit, you have to purchase the pass on top of whatever your normal seat contribution is. There are 1,000 of those passes, it's basically a drink mixing/eating area with TVs and couches. So I would say (guess) the total club space is about 5,000 persons at BDS, but with all varying prices and donations to move up the list I have no idea how you would figure revenue up for it.
That is believable as I've been to BDS this past year.
I understand the point of donations for seat designation however I just simply care about the actual ticket price point.
The difference between club seats and general seating.

According to this website it's $782 per ticket average in BDS. not including skybox revenue..
That puts us around $72M plus the $6.9 = $78.9M..
Will you look at that.. It's basically the Forbes numbers before expenses.

Which is pretty close to the number published in the Forbes article.
Univ. of Alabama $71,884,525.00

That is correct. If Arkansas added 40 skyboxes only without club seating or general seating we would add $8M revenue.
The one thing I said that would offset everything was IF general ticket prices were high for Alabama. To which they are therefore keeping separation even with Arkansas growth.
If Alabama tickets (general seating) had been average SEC pricing per ticket it would hold true for the Arkansas revenue gain however that is not the case.
Alabama general ticket prices offset club seating for the rest of the SEC. Therefore, this justifies their high ranking by Forbes.
Tennessee, however will fall victim to the Plan I just laid out..
Are we all understanding now?

Good deal. Sounds like we have solved the problem.
Maybe I should look into getting a job in finance

This is what we learned.
Tennessee 101,000 having a $54M- Revenue stream
Alabama 101,000 having a $71M- Revenue stream
Arkansas 76,000 having a $48M- Revenue stream
I never realized Alabama's general ticket prices were that high..
Otherwise, my theory holds true as Arkansas will pass Tennessee in revenue because of our skybox additions even though they have 101,000 in that stadium and minimal skyboxes.

There is no doubt Arky will move up in those rankings. It just seemed far fetched that they could make up the 23 million when Tide Pride only brings in 20 million on donations for the whole stadium

You never know until you work the numbers.
As I was explaining Tennessee has maximized there stadium with general seating leaving little room for luxury revenue streams (skyboxes)
Alabama however added more luxury skyboxes on their last expansion to help offset their general seating therefore making a smart business decision.
BDS was very nice as I was there but I didn't see many club seating. However, if you can charge premium for general seating you do not need club seating.
This is why Tennessee is falling in the rankings regardless of bad seasons and Arkansas is increasing.

"With 120 skyboxes, Neyland Stadium has the third-largest number of skyboxes in the SEC, while the accommodations are believed to be second-to-none."
That is what I was going off of..
Alabama 159 skyboxes (101,000 seats)
Arkansas 132 skyboxes (101,000 seats)
Tennessee 120 skyboxes (76,000 seats)
Forbes.
Alabama $71M
Tennessee $54M
Arkansas $48M
I never dreamed Alabama's tickets prices would be that much hire than Tennessee otherwise Arkansas would pass both Alabama and Tennessee in the new skybox addition upcoming. However, we will only pass Tennessee an not Alabama.
This is exactly why we do the numbers.

Stadium Revenue only.
No, only YOU are talking purely stadium revenue. Everyone else is talking general revenue and the overall prestige associated with an elite stadium. In your hypothetical world you are hoping to limit the conversation to pure stadium revenue and pretend that money from donations is somehow less relevant than money from a skybox. Arkansas won't win a single recruit by touting that although the big boys all have 85-100,000 seat stadiums, Arkansas' makes more money.
