I mean okay but there's no reason to believe that will happen here. As of now we know about 1 alleged violation, not 15 or whatever Ole Miss was charged with.

No sir. You are wrong. It's multiples with each of the 2 athletes listed over a specified time with a huge FBI "WTF" in the middle of it.

This is FAR beyond Ole Miss brother.

FAR beyond.

Yes but 3 of the 4 seasons he played was outside the SOL, which reads as from the date of the violation.

That year limit can be extended for certain situations, which this case meets.

quote:

i don't remember exactly, just remember that as part of the reporting and that the Means incident itself was the last straw for the infractions committee. There had been other things besides Langham.

The NCAA admitted it made mistakes in the Langham case btw, and Alabama won the appeal before then which reduced the penalties.

LINK

And there was a lost scholarship in 96 over some loan stuff according to this link, but no mention of probation. Even then, it would have required like 5 years probation which wouldn't seem normal.

See the link I posted about Bama bearing charged as a repeat offender and nearly getting the death penalty

Which was total bullshite, but that's another story/thread. I'll just say there's a reason we all called it the National Conspiracy Against Alabama.

Right and your interpretation of the rules has no bias whatsoever, right?

Be that as it may, the point is that’s not happening to LSU in this case regardless if all 3 criteria are met (which we’re a long way from no mater how much rivals fans hope and want it to be so).

You know Mark Emmett and Scott Woodward’s kids are married, right? I mean as long as we’re going to play this game.

I can't help it if that is what it states.

Here let me help you in a case where the NCAA used willful violations clause:

LINK

quote:

The NCAA told Miami administrators that, in light of allegations made by a former Hurricanes booster, it will consider invoking its "willful violators" clause and make an exception to the four-year statute of limitations on violations

I don't. If I thought it wouldn't matter I wouldn't post about it. I already laid out what I thought would be the important things.

Exactly how much lighter do you think they are going to be? If your expecting somekind of youthful offender status, you're going to mistaken. You might not suffer as many scholarship losses or whatever, but it'll still be substantial.

Look at what they did to USC and that wasn't as bad as this.

And the toll it will have on recruiting.... while they are turning over every stone.

If anything that'll make things worse for LSU. The media spotlight Will be on Emmertt's being related. And I know of one media outlet that will be happy to shine that light.

The hammer will be even worse to prove Emmertt didn't have any undue influence.

At this point LSU IS getting punished. No way around it. How badly is up in the air.

The ironic part is that meme was made by the guy who actually pretends to be the lawyer for the SECr and his arse is still very much hurt from lsufball embarrassing him on multiple occasions

I kinda feel badly for you guys to be honest. Seen it time and again. It's like going through the stages of grief. And it happens like clockwork. Right now you're in the denial/fighting back stage. So you're going to do a lot of "research" to validate your feelings.

The next stage is pointing fingers at others..."but, but they do it too." Which your fellow comrades have already arrived at on the Tiger Rant in addition to attacking the media.

The next step of emotion you will feel is when the NOA is publicly announced. Hopefully you've emotionally prepared for that.

But I'm glad you're fighting, it shows moxy. But I feel a bit of sadness too, like I did for Apollo Creed, because I know the ending. Seen this movie before.
