Kiffin was a key player in helping he become eligible. Get used to Kiffin outsmarting himself.

He hadn’t even gotten an answer on his initial application by the time Kiffin left. The appeal wasn’t filed until January. Idk how much you can give Kiffin credit for that.

I ain't no quarteback whisperer but I think a bigger issue with Leavitt is his dependency on his legs hampers his willingness to go through the progressions. LSU's line was giving him ample time, at times, and he pulled the ball down and took off. That is something that can be fixed and call Kiffin what you will but he is probably one of the best at fixing that sort of thing. Again, I ain't a QB guru but it looks to me like he takes off running too quickly at times. He has the ability to do so but at times doing so too quickly causes many issues, the biggest of which is punting a lot.

That's exactly what is happening. If his first read isn't there his immediate instinct is to take off running. I don't know if Kiffin and Weis can get him to change or not. I guess we will see.

Everyone with ball knowledge knew he was a turnover machine.

He had 9 turnovers in 2 years (20 games) at Arizona State. Did you think he was a turnover machine before or after the Louisiana Tech game?

People forget how bad Leavitt was at Michigan state

I'm sure you remember all 23 of his pass attempts that season. Because of course you were dialed into the true freshman 3rd string QB at 4-8 Michigan St
