In Richt’s first years he had a true freshman QB, Greene, that won a lot of games, but couldn’t get Georgia over the hump.
In Kirby’s first years he has a true freshman QB, Fromm, that has won a lot of games, but can’t get Georgia over the hump.
The similarities are striking.
Which National Championship game did Greene play in? I can't remember.
Crap. Don't get all mad at us just because you have Kevin Sumlin 2.0 as your head coach.

I was just explaining to him what’s going on, I welcome the chatter.
And I was adding context.

Hmmm...then I guess you would agree that nick Marshall cost Auburn the championship in 2013. he had a 51 QBR. Garbage. Tagovailoa had 70 QBR against us in 2017. Now there is a QB. Seems Marshall is garbage.
Seeing that Marshall was a db playing the qb position this doesn’t really help your argument. Thanks for helping mine though.

How is Marshall’s nfl career going? Tua and Fromm are projected to go in the first. Marshall probably could’ve stuck around if he learned to play DB.

Richt and Smart after year three look very similar, in that Richt was at that time and Smart is now,one of the best coaches in the country. If Smart doesn’t keep it going, like Richt didn’t, then he’ll get fired too. We aren’t gonna put up with 5 losses a year like AU fans

Well y’all do play in one of the easiest divisions in college football.

Based on the last decade+ adding AU to the East wouldn’t make it more difficult for us...you lost to UT last year for Christ sakes.

Tell me how y’all would fare in the western division.

We’d beat AU annually, you would have another divisional loss. We would lose to Bama 70-90% of the time. We’d split with LSU. AU loses to UGA as often as it does Bama lately. So no matter which side of the conference you are on your fate seems set.

What makes you think this?

I guess all of the beatings by UGA daddy have left you thinking of everything Dawg all the time.
Better get used to it. The beatings will continue.

Celebrating losses I see.

Probably would’ve been much different for Richt if he had a playoff like Kirby does now.

If Kirby is the second coming of Richt (average 9-10 wins a year). Then what the frick us Gus (average 8 wins/yr)?

The better question would be...IF Jake can’t win a conference title or natty, should Smart have done more to keep Fields around?
