You know full well I have no problem with you. My comment was absolutely not directed at you. It was directed at the troll that started this thread.

Wow your reading comprehension skills are poor at best. He said Georgia has been to a natty more recently. But 1980 though, it's all you Aubies have now

You're right. Fromm was garbage.
He was garbage in that game, true freshman or not. They lost that game because he played poorly. If he plays average they win.

You don't math very well. 1980 is a long time ago.
ET were you even alive then?
1. I was alive.
2. He said lead his team to the game.
Maybe he will, I don't know.
But as for your snarky comment...you realize both schools have 2 Championships, right? Why would it be a Georgia thing?

Posted on 9/26/19 at 6:01 pm to DawgsLife
I know. I think they are both great QBs. I think Fromm is just a better fit in your system. Doesn’t mean Fields can’t be phenomenal elsewhere.

I'm sorry did Fromm not lead his team the national title game in his freshman season?
many would argue the running game was the reason the O was successful.
quote:
Tell me would you bench a QB who was getting some Heisman hype and just led your team the national title game for some freshman who never started a game?
What hype?

I can show you this years hype.
quote:
But despite all of his accomplishments, Fromm isn’t seen as a true top Heisman Trophy candidate according to the latest odds. According to the odds put out by BetOnline, Fromm has 14-to-1 odds to win the 2019 Heisman Trophy. Those are the seventh-best odds overall, but he’s sixth among quarterbacks.
quote:
But some of the quarterbacks with better odds than Fromm include Oklahoma quarterback Jalen Hurts, Nebraska quarterback Adrian Martinez and Ohio State quarterback Justin Fields.

Garbage? Hardly.

They lost that game because he played poorly.
Either you didn't watch the game or you don't know football.....at all.

Dude. You started the thread! What did you expect?
You want to get a fan base riled up don't expect if they
come after you.
"B-b-b-but I thought I could take shots at Georgia and their fans would just sit back and take it!"

Did Fromm not lead his team to the national championship game? Let us know when Fields does.
Besides...why would that be a Georgia thing? Are you under the impression that Auburn has more?

In Richt’s first years he had a true freshman QB, Greene, that won a lot of games, but couldn’t get Georgia over the hump.
In Kirby’s first years he has a true freshman QB, Fromm, that has won a lot of games, but can’t get Georgia over the hump.
The similarities are striking.

Richt was .667 against Auburn. Smart is .750. So maybe you're right, since those numbers are close.
Kidding aside, the two coaches aren't very similar.

Hmmm...then I guess you would agree that nick Marshall cost Auburn the championship in 2013. he had a 51 QBR. Garbage.
Tagovailoa had 70 QBR against us in 2017. Now there is a QB.
Seems Marshall is garbage.
however....Gus is still Sumlin 2.0.
