This is rich coming from a UT fan. I recall a murder on the UT campus involving a football player and the investigation was conducted by CAMPUS SECURITY. So it wasn’t hard to understand why nothing much was done.
There are many other cases involving criminal behavior by UT players.
This was a horrible accident. It doesn’t matter where these young people were celebrating. All were over 18 and the AJC was wrong to sensationalize this tragedy. Never thought I’d see the day a once respected newspaper like the AJC would stoop so low

I will respond to these people if I want. It’s disgraceful to have them making these comments when these poor kids are barely in their graves. They need to be called out for their insensitivity and reminded of their schools less than pristine history.

But further details are coming out on the UGA deal. The vehicle was leased by the UGA AD for official use only. UGA is trying to remove itself from liability now. So who controlled the keys, who authorized its use for this trip to the strip club? And the next answer we get will were UGA funds used at the club? And it looks like, shockingly, they were.
When Tennessee had its Pruitt issue the entire recruiting support staff was let go, as were 2 on the field coaches that were supposedly running the misuse of funds thing.
I doubt this will see the on the field staff go but I suspect that the majority of the recruiting support staff is about to find it uncomfortable in Athens.

Hence the “who controlled the keys”. Because state vehicles are kept on a lot with controlled access and you need authorization to get the keys and use the vehicle. So someone oked this or UGA needs a trip from the state inspector general’s office and everyone that was connected to the AD that used the vehicles outside of official authorized business is getting fired. Misuse of state property and or funds is grounds for termination from the state of Georgia.

And then we would need the why was an expense card used at a strip club, when else and by whom were expense cards used. When the Ga prison system did its audit 5-6 ago supposedly the Ga IG office cracked down on state employees misuse of the cards.
