Why in the ever loving frick would Kelly consider going from LSU to Michigan? Outside of a substantial difference in money Michigan is Notre Dame without the history. The commitment to winning at LSU is infinitely higher than it is at Michigan....it is far more likely to win natty's from the SEC than it is from the Big10. Recruiting is easier and fan support is greater. Outside of a heaping pile of money, which LSU can match and would be foolish not to, there is no advantage to coaching at Michigan over LSU.

Baton Rouge is in a 5 hour radius of an area where about 30% of the NFL was born and played high school football. Ann Arbor is in a 5 hour radius of an area where about 5% did. That area around Baton Rouge is lousy with bug fast linemen and blistering fast skill position players. Michigan ain't close in terms of talent in a 5 hour radius. That alone makes LSU a better job.

Be careful, truth and real discussion isnt allowed around these parts. You must be an annoying troll at all times.

The arrogance. The disillusion. Sad.

Yes and it’s funny watching LSU swampies cling to a 3.5 loss a season coach.

Can’t blame you guys for being salty. 10/7 limited your best season in 20 years. Then Kelly took two of your coaches for good measure.

Yes, but both those programs have a lot more NIL

If Michigan does, no one is spending it.

I heard Drink was the main recruiter...so he probably stays.

Ok...........so what is your prediction for Rammer Jammer's record this coming fall? And don't say you don't know, too many moving pieces..................you just reload right, even coaches?

I’m hearing BK is leaving for Michigan.

When that happens you will appear here and immediately surrender.

Michigan has had 5 HCs since Bo Schembechler retired in 1989. Other than Rich Rod, who only lasted three seasons, all of them have come from the Schembechler/Michigan coaching tree. It's what they do. It's not unlike what Alabama did between the time Bryant retired and they hired Saban.

Possible? Yes.

Likely? No.

LSU has had a higher ranked recruiting class than Michigan both this year and last. And the 2024 class was one of the weakest in LA.
