Now scoring offense only matters. Y’all seemed to disagree when Sumlin scored 35 a game while giving 40.
In terms of offense, scoring is the only thing that matters really.
In terms of a full team aspect, points scored and points given up are all that really matter.

It's comical that so many lsu fans still consider lsu football superior to aTm despite on-the-field results since Jimbo's arrival.
Not even going to get into how LSU won the 2018 game on 3 separate occasions.
LSU
2018: 10-3, Fiesta Bowl winners
2019: 15-0, national champions
2020: 5-5
A&M:
2018: 9-4
2019: 8-5
2020: 9-1, brought back tons of talent, extremely easy schedule, best team in a century, lost to the only elite team on their schedule.
overall
LSU - 30-8, national title, NY6
A&M - 26-10, NY6 against a team without its leading rusher, tackler, and receiver
LSU has also accumulated more talent in that time span. Gotta say, there's a pretty clear "superior" program between the two, and it's certainly not Texas A&m.

ATM is like an Auburn level program so they’re not going to maintain status like Bama or UGA or LSU. They’ll have bigger dips but they can win it if he gets a couple of players in key positions who can elevate them for a season or 2. Mond isn’t that type of player but he still went 26-10 in 3* seasons with him. If he’d pull a Winston or even a Manziel to ATM he’d have a chance. It isn’t his system and that’s what the OP asked about before going full retard.

Les Miles went 33-7 with Jordan Jefferson.
Doesn't mean his offensive scheme wasn't shite.

Lmfao, you’re so dumb it’s almost impossible. One has absolutely nothing to do with the other. Was honey Badger starting for ATM the last 3 seasons? Were the 7 NFL Dlineman or all NFL secondary? Did ATMs D give up 11ppg last year and I missed it? Thanks for proving my point about deflection and false equivalency though. You only have 3 streams of thought and you knocked out two of them in one statement.

They had one of the best defenses in the SEC.

Lol
2011 LSU- 11.3ppg allowed
2020 ATM- 21.7ppg allowed
More than a 2 score difference but In your mind they’re the same or comparable and that says it all.

I realize you may not be able to comprehend this but college football has changed drastically since 2011 and teams just score more now due to rule changes and stricter enforcement.

Doesn’t Jimbo run a pro style and LSU runs an Air Raid? We’ve had an Air Raid the first 5 years of the SEC from our Big 12 days, what sucks is that scoring fast, but worse, fast 3 and outs kept the defense on the field too long, we switched to a pro style to control the clock, I’ll say this, Jimbo has mentioned the lack of explosive plays and is trying to recruit speed, when Jimbo got here, I don’t think he had one WR that was even a legit 4.5 40 guy, we shall see, Jimbo won’t get fired tho, he’d obviously be allowed to change OC’s before that happens

You haven’t defended a single statement you’ve made with a fact, all you do is move the goalpost. What’s sad is you’re not intelligent enough to realize how pathetic you look in doing it.

I believe Jimbo has always ran his own offense, an OC doesn't really do much on his teams.

Yeah but I agree, if we hired Graham Harrell, it’s still Jimbo calling plays, i bet a Harrell could make it more explosive

Possibly, who knows.
A lot of folks point to his 2013 season but seem to forget the fact that his team was more talented than basically everyone they played.
That will likely never be the case in the SEC.

Historically, if we go back to Fran, Sherman, Sumlin days, our most historical offenses / good years, bc there was a lot of bad years between those 3 coaches named above, were defined by strong OL play, the dudes that blocked for Tannehill/Manziel all played in the league, and the dudes this year might not of been drafted but we’re 2nd only to Bama to good college players, if Fisher has a line this year, his O will be good, bad line, O will struggle, might not look pretty
