No running game at bama is blasphemy. That's how I know DeBoer is the wrong guy.

Bama ran the ball pretty good yesterday compared to the rest of the year. The problem yesterday was Bama threw the ball 40 something times and didn’t run the ball near as much.

While lack of a running game has hurt Bama all year, the turnovers were the death knell as they almost always are.
You lose the turnover battle 0-3 in SEC play, that's a loss close to 100% of the time.

You also have to remember that sacks count towards the rushing total in college. I don’t know how many yards all the sacks ate off the rushing total but the run game was a lot better than what it has been producing. It’s just a shame Bama threw the ball so many times and didn’t take advantage of the run game a little more.
