Is it safe to go to the Alabama game by myself?

I am not trying to be funny or facetious. Would it be safe for me to sit in a predominantly Bama section of the stadium wearing LSU colors? I've been to BDS before but I was with my uncle and brothers in the LSU section. If I go by myself, should I wear neutral colors? I have a family and need to return home safely. Should I conceal carry? I would hate for my life to be put in jeopardy if somehow LSU were to pull out a victory.

In the game sure, after the game and outside the stadium it depends on where you park

You should conceal carry. Make sure you let the cops know though. They like a heads up when people carry in the stadium

You're right. I'm usually not worried about stuff like this, but I don't want to get jumped. I am nervous because I've heard stories. I'm 6'5 230 so they'd probably bring a weapon to the fight

Yeah..big fella but regardless man, no one is going to frick with you. I'm sure you'll get heckled a few times but that would happen anywhere. Enjoy the game.

After the 2011 game, I was staying at a friend's house on 15th ST. Other than the 2010 Iron Bowl, it was the quietest I've seen Tuscaloosa post-game.
One rather drunk gentleman, stumbling about aimlessley, saw us drinking on the front porch. He exclaimed, "IF I SEE ANY OF YOU MOTHERfrickERS EATING A CORNDOG THIS YEAR I WILL DESTROY YOUR GODDAMN FACE!"

honestly, if LSU loses you will be ok. If LSU wins however, dead serious, you are in grave risk if you are by yourself. Those backwoods frickers actually kill people over a loss....that's their entire life there. Not exaggerating at all. Probably not a great idea.
