Neither are perfect but both better than Haskins. I expect Freeze to have atleast one national championship contending run during his first 4 years at Auburn.

I do think he'll have a better winning percentage than Gus. Gus's neuroses would cost Auburn at least one winnable game every season. Matching the little bit of hardware Gus had will be much more difficult.

I watched the Arkansas vs Liberty from last year on YouTube recently and that was no fluke. Freeze coached circles around Pitt Boss. Particularly in the first half when the depth wasn’t as much as issue for Liberty. They punch the Hawgs in the mouth and out-schemed them in every phase of the game.
