Against arkie and A&M Stidham was working the middle of the field more than I remember at any time under Gus. The next 3 weeks will tell whether it paid off. Our OL has improved, but it isn't good enough to control the game. Our RB's are good, but KJ is not a game breaker. We will need the intermediate throws to win against uga and bama. I am cautiously optimistic about the possibility they are there, but will only believe it when I see it.

The "UGA is one-dimensional, make Fromm beat you" argument should have ended, but I still hear it (Herbstriet, etc.). USCe, MSU, ND all had pretty good d-lines and Fromm was able to stay poised and deliver the ball where needed. He may be a freshman, but he doesn't think or play like it. Started the day he arrived on campus. Most UGA fans had at least an idea that he had a good chance to start. Happened a lot sooner than expected, but he's a gamer.

Because it worked against Eason, and be honest, what else is a DC supposed to do? Gameplan around Fromm and let our wild beasts run rampant?

Fromm riding our wild beasts into Jordan-Hare like:

It wouldn't surprise me if this turns into a game where both teams are trying to avoid really screwing up.

The winning formula for Gus is pretty clear.
JUCO-transfer running QB = SEC champs, natty game appearance
I don't know why Gus doesn't recruit a new JUCO dual-threat QB every year.

Pretty good? Everyone of those defenses are average at best.

au has a legitimate (notice I didnt say "good") chance to pull off an amazing accomplishment in the next four weeks. Of course if Malzahn does that he would likely get a nice extension. I think he stays regardless of what happens because they will want the next AD to have a chance at hiring a new coach and they would owe Malzhan a lot of money and this is a really really shitty year to be hiring a new coach

Because from here on out Georgia will get the same treatment Bama gets load the box and make the QB beat you.
This is what you get when the #1 and #2 Teams in the country just happen to be the #1 and #2 Rushing team in the conference with highly rated QBs

I can't really answer the OP's question but I think Auburn has a real chance of winning the game. They match up pretty well and most likely it's going to be a close, low scoring game. Turnovers and mistakes will likely decide this one.

I would agree. He is a concern of mine. You hope he'll eventually have a "Freshman" game, but guys who have "IT" are usually just great.
The converse of this is our QB. JS has ever tool you'd want in a QB. He has made some great throws and done some unbelievable things. However, does he have "IT"? Nobody really knows. He hasn't shown it against Clemson or LSU, but you could argue that isn't his fault. The other games haven't really been contested greatly.
We will see soon enough.

Gus coaches scared and has for a while - he trusts no one and won't be aggressive enough to test the mid-range passes for fear of an INT. He'll run it or go for the long range bomb, that way if the ball gets intercepted then it's the same as a punt.
Gus will come out as usual with his scripted plays and they will work to a tee and they will move the ball. But when UGA adjusts, Gus hasn't shown he can counter the opponents adjustment during the game.
I'm really excited to sit at home all day Saturday, fire up the egg, drink cold beer and watch some really good games.

If I were Gus, I would come out west coast air raid.
Stidham is your strength.
Secondary is uga’s least good unit.
Worked for mizzou for a half against us.
Obviously there are risks associated with this, but in a game like this you have to pull out all the stops.
