Why would lsu fans be angry?we curb stomped auburn for 6th time in 7 games. LSU is a better program than auburn always has been always will be. As a matter of fact , LSU has a better Men's Basketball program, Baseball program, and football program. Last year auburn finished last in the west in all 3 of these sports.
Auburn is having a hell of a season this year in football and I think Gus should win coach of the year. He is a great coach

only to a certain point...nobody runs like us.

Let's not act like you're Nebraska 95. You have huge rushing stats because you've ran the ball so much. You are .5 ypc better than bama and 1.4 ypc better than lsu.

Exactly, so why in the wide world of fricks would it matter how well LSU's defense played against Auburn? Alabama and LSU are nothing alike, have completely different personnel, run a completely different scheme, etc... LSU has always played the spread type teams tougher because they are smaller and quicker, whereas Alabama has had a tendency to struggle more against teams like Auburn, Texas A&M, etc...

I never said we couldn't throw the deep ball. In fact I stated that, as of a few weeks ago, Sammy Coates led the nation in YPC. My exact statement was..... "if you "load up the box" that leaves a WR one-on-one, which opens up the deep ball.", which is 100% correct. If you account for the deep ball, meaning you aren't creeping up the safeties, the helps the running game. It's really not that difficult to understand.

If we are effectively covering your WRs one on one with our CBs, then our safeties can creep up a little bit without hurting our pass defense. Not that hard to understand.

No you're delusional. Auburn throws it when they want to. Not because they have to.

Yes, the overly aggresive tone of your writing suggests that you are in fact angry. It's OK. I understand. We all go through disappointing seasons.

Yet I keep reading that your CB's are your weakness....so which is can your CBs cover Sammie M'fin'Coates 1on1? Or are they the weak spot in your defense?

Do you think our receivers have problems getting open or something? Because they don't.

Honestly maybe that's not what you're saying, but it seems you think our receivers can't get open when 1on 1

Yall are takingf what I said completely out of context.

Mr.AuTigers said that even if yall cant complete passes on play action, then it will still be effective in opening up the run game. I was arguing against that.

We don't need to cover Coates. He will drop it anyways.
