We're going to be multiple. We'll go 3-4, 4-3, 5-2, and sometimes we won't even put any people out there. We're going to revolutionize college football.

Well Saban has supposedly reached out to Chavis as well. Maybe it was a Sumlin problem.

but got progressively worse each year and this year was just as bad as the year before he was hired.

60th in total D this year, 103rd the year before he was hired

43rd in yards per play this year, 96th the year before he was hired

I don’t really want him to stay as DC but what you said is false

I was looking at points allowed

28.7 points allowed per game in 2017
28.1 points allowed per game in 2014

22/game in 2015 and 24.5/game in 2016 for comparison his first 2 years

The pattern existed everywhere he's been. You'd get one good year out of him

I think it was more of a Sumlin problem honestly than Chief

On both sides of the ball we lacked physicality and we had 4 different OCs and 2 DCs

2015 (net decrease of 1.3 ppg)

Points Scored: 27.8 (Offensive Coordinator Fired)
Points Allowed: 22.0

2016 (net increase of 4.5 ppg)

Points Scored: 34.8
Points Allowed: 24.5

2017 (net decrease of 7.9 ppg/Head Coach Fired)

It's a Sumlin problem.
