SCORING DEFENSE

LSU 12
UT 25

Isn't the object of the game scoring points? Last I check the team with the most POINTS not YARD won the game...

I'm really not worried about Bama beating them at all

From a team that scored no touchdowns against an SEC team with a losing record... I would be concerned. Never mind the fact the team you beat had a missed FG and two others blocked.

I wouldn't be worried at all if I were you.

I hope you plan on scoring TD's against us because we don't plan on have two FG's blocked.

After LSU beat Auburn, I'm starting to worry that they might actually end up in the SEC Championship. I really think if we end up facing each other, they're going to kick our asses. Even though I don't want to see them again this year, I still hope they beat Bama.

What the hell is your point there? that Bama's defense is better than Auburn's? Ok, genius, you win, Bama's defense is better than Auburn's.

Again, what's your point? That Bama's defense is better than LSU's? Ok, then, Bama's defense is better than LSU's. The ORIGINAL point that ttowntide made was that UT has a better defense than LSU, which, based on the score vs. a common opponent AND PPG, is obviously incorrect. Now give me a reason why the YPG outweighs both of these.

I really can't remember my point. But I can't just without a doubt say LSUs defense is better than Tenn. I would guess it should be talent wise but I think even LSU fans would agree they are better scheme wise.

not sure, monte's scheme vs the wildcat in the first half was horrible...but he did make adjustments. but if you are saying tennessee has a better schemed only becuse they have a pro dc then you say tennesse has a better scheme than 95% of the country.

I'm not so sure that running a tampa 2 all the time isn't a waste of a safety against SEC teams that run the ball more than they throw it.
