don't worry, this seems to have devolved into another should bama have made the title game thread, and unfortunately I got sucked into it.

Ok so after 200 posts we can safely say, OP doesn't think its a dynasty and 95 percent of the rest of the people do.

very true...

the media built up Notre Dame's defense...but it was proved to be a joke

more media hype...in a playoff, Notre Dame would have been gone in the first round...

Georgia, LSU, Florida, Louisville, Clemson, FSU, all would have beaten the Irish

And we've all seen how awesome OU and Texas have been here recently.

Could it be possible -- even slightly possible -- that OSU's big signature wins were against vastly overrated B12 opponents which served to artificially inflate their strength of schedule?

I mean, 9-6 was a match between two of the best CFB teams in ten years. This much was evident to anyone who wasn't in complete delusional denial.

Nothing which was seen for the rest of the 2011 season did anything to refute this fact.

Alabama/LSU was the only option which wouldn't be a complete farce.

I don't think you are over:

Saban leaving lsu

Bama getting a second chance and beating the best team lsu has had in years

Playing everyone else in the west for runner up

the answer is the same as the answer to this question:

Did you start the thread to help psychologically convince yourself Bama isn't a dynasty?

Prior to 2012, Alabama had played Florida 4 years in a row.

Two of those years, Alabama played Florida in the SEC C.G., not during the regular season, and Alabama lost one of them.

Saban started to beat Florida after Tebow and Urban Meyer left, but so did a lot of SEC teams.
