A&M had plenty of time and an athletic director to make this hire

You may want to familiarize yourself with the baseball portal dates before you show your ignorance again.
A&M had 1 day less than Texas to move forward.

Alberts knew Scholss was probably on his way out, given Albert's moves in the Athletic Department that Schloss didn't know about or agree with. If A&M was caught flat footed, that's on A&M.

After all of the events last year, you’re going with this? Texas had Schloss way before the day he quit.

Not to mention, his players would walk through fire for him. He’s not going anywhere.

I wouldn’t make them walk through fire but from unanimous preseason #1 to missing out on postseason play entirely ?! Better be ready to walk your arse from Hoover to College Station cause you fricking suck and your season’s over.
Kent may play short stop for A&M, but he doesn't have the range or the arm to be a top tier SEC SS. Probably a better 2B.

Earley giving Kent his position to keep him was a way to keep him, but there is a reason Kent didn't play SS for Schloss. If you're not strong up the middle, you're not strong.

Is A&M waiting until tomorrow to fire Earley?

Aggy will shuffle the deck chairs around on their sinking program, but keep Earley

Because A&M had a better defensive SS last year in Ali Camarillo. At least be factual.

MSU went to CWS 3 out of the past 7 including a natty and we just fired our coach.

I would think you could see the contextual difference between MSU firing Chris Lemonis and Texas firing David Pierce.

My only concern with Johnson would be if our meddling governor pushed out Woodward
