Things in common
Tigers
Preseason Heisman QB Winner
Early loss
Beat #2 UGA at home by 20+

Things to come?
Beat #1 Bama at home by double digits
Lose SECCG rematch (UGA)
Coach Extension/Raise
Watch teams you beat play for the CFP Championship (Bama vs UGA/Miami?)
Lose to the national champs in bowl game (UCF)

How the mighty have fallen. This is all you can hope for. Sad!

Why is everyone assuming this is a desired outcome? I am just pointing out parallels and possibilities.

They’ll be in the position we’re in soon. Orgeron has never been a good head coach.

No. LSU has too much depth. LSU will finish strong. Not saying you win the West, or the SEC (Although it is possible) but, you won't lose games because one player is injured.
