"Nick Starkel has been accurate on 91.7% of his 3rd down throws (Tops in the SEC) despite having a completion percentage of 75%.

His predecessor Ben Hicks was accurate on 35.3% of 3rd down throws (Worst in SEC).

Time to buy that Arkansas stock, gang. "

What sample size are we talking? 12 throws?

So why didn't he start from the beginning? Is your coach stupid? And I am not picking on Arkansas, because I am hoping my coach is stupid too.

It came out later that Starkel had been mourning the passing of a close friend on top of having to learn the offense. He may truly have not been ready to start week 1 or even week 2. No doubt he's the best option, though.

He's played 2 quarters vs Ole Miss and all 4 against Colorado State.

All this and it’s probably also hard to not start the kid that started for you for two years at your previous stop and helped land you your current job.

This does not speak highly of Chads QB evaluation skills

He’s not hurt. Starkel just made it completely obvious to everyone watching that he is the starting QB based off his play.
