So, if it's AU you believe UGA is magically going to get 23 points better? Just curious, but what's this based on besides hope?
Two good questions. Bama magically got 24 points better than LSU in the 2011 football season. LSU good for dam near any reference you want........Troy
History of same season turnarounds since 2000
2001
Colorado 39, Texas 37
Texas 41, Colorado 7 (Week 7
2007
Virginia Tech 30, Boston College 16
Boston College 14, Virginia Tech 10 (Week 8)
2008
Virginia Tech 30, Boston College 12
Boston College 28, Virginia Tech 23 (Week 7)
2011
Wisconsin 42, Michigan State 39
Michigan State 37, Wisconsin 31 (Week 7)
SEC
2001
LSU 31, Tennessee 20
Tennessee 26, LSU 18 (Week 3)
2011 (24 point turnaround)
LSU 9, Bama 6
Bama 21, LSU 0
So my answer to that question is dam right. On a neutral field the Dawgs will win.

Why are you bothering with this? You are not going to be playing the barn again.

why leave off all the SECCG rematches?
The SEC Championship game has featured a rematch of a regular season game a total of six times (1999, 2000, 2001, 2003, 2004, 2010). The team which won the regular season game is 5–1 in the rematches, the lone exception being in 2001 when LSU defeated Tennessee in the championship game after losing to them in the regular season.

That's not going to fix the arse beating you took in the trenches. Your two best players had 46 yards rushing combined.

It looks good when you only include the games that work for you. There have been 6 SECCG rematches and 5 of 6 had the same team winning the rematch.
But, go ahead and return to your delusions. See you next week.

It was a reply to a question

In 2010, auburn narrowly beat USCe at home. In the rematch game, I think they called off the 4th quarter because Auburn was up 50-0, or something along those lines

That just won't work to support my argument.

This actually would have been an interesting post if you included all recent rematches and not just the ones that fit your narrative.

Why don't you just do East vs West in the SECCG since 2009?

I am guessing you left off the numerous examples that contradict your theory because...

Auburn has won the SECCG twice in a rematch.
2004: vs Tennessee 34-10, 38-28
2010: vs South Carolina 35-27, 56-17
2004: vs Tennessee 34-10, 38-28

How do this support my narrative

I mean just look at the game.
1. Georgia drops a walk in touch down.
2. Georgia has three receivers open on flea flicker.
3. Georgia misses a field goal.
That's 17 potential points for UGA.
Then factor in auburn scored after a dumb penalty by UGA on a punt, and UGA muffed a punt..
Even with how bad Georgia played, they had chances to take control of that game.
Don't get me wrong I believe that auburn was the better team that night, gotta give them credit, but I don't think they were 20+ points better.
But it's all moot anyways. If auburn wins against Bama, Georgia will get a chance to prove that game was an anomaly. Auburn gets to prove that they are in fact that much better than UGA.
So we'll see next weekend. Depending if Auburn can get past Alabama anyways.

Guess that means that Troy would beat Auburn then. Troy>LSU>Auburn, and nothing changes game-to-game in your world. UGA was flat, made uncharacteristic mistakes, and was at Auburn in a game that Auburn had to win and UGA didn't. But you Aubies keep up the chest thumping. I hope we play again.

Also have to look at all the mistakes AU made as well. The drop TD was due to a CB falling down. There were a couple of blown coverages that left wide open WR for UGA.

You left off jumping. That penalty is so minor Kentucky got away with it

Yes I agree with that. Auburn made mistakes during that game too, the difference is that Georgias mistakes started to effect the mentally, where as Auburns didn't.
I mean if we try to look at the game from a neutral standpoint, the game was still a game until the muffed punt. That's when auburn really broke it open.
But it doesn't change the fact that you guys owned the LOS, which is what I'm most concerned about in a re match.
Y'all have a good defense no doubt about it.

now all of you know why everybody hates ga...they are the whinny brat down the street. never have there been a more delusional fan base. I hate them more than auburn.

Well I'm sorry you feel that way. At least our fan base don't poison trees and shoot other fans.
