He's the best recruiter. That I'll give him but nothing more. Being at Bama with a little extra cash, schollys and jobs for player girlfriends probably doesn't hurt either.

Saban gets pissed when you're not giving your all and making dumb mistakes because of it. Something you're more likely to encounter when the game is out of reach, not a nailbiter.

yeah, this WAS a defacto SEC West championship, unless you think TAMU is going to Beat Bama in Tuscaloosa. (Only Auburn and LSU have our number at home, it's hell for everyone else)

I tend to agree. I still say that Muschamp is a Coach Saban wannabe, except that he is 1/4th the coach thus far. Anyway, Coach Saban does not need to scream and holler and get players fired, Alabama has the two Aggie cheerleaders on the sideline with the team.
