Yea, I want UVA and UNC as well. I would be more than fine with UNC and Duke, for the addition to basketball. Plus UNC is good in baseball too(same with UVA)

Would be nice to see us add Southern state schools this time around...
I said the same thing in 1992. I got half of what I wanted.

Feel free to show me any other logical expansion schools that can match this...

THIS is why they fit perfectly in the SEC. The culture is already there -- we don't have to invite someone and hope that culture can be cultivated over time.

I'd almost rather have Virginia with UNC and let that program grow as a member of the SEC.
I'd much rather invite a team with football culture to fit perfectly from the get go. Nevermind the actual culture of the school fitting the SEC MUCH better than UVA -- which is a prototypical B1G school.

Id rather have Virginia as well, my statement was that I could live with va tech. But all roads point to Virginia to the B1G

I don't want anyone else
VaTech has NEVER won a championship in a D1 sport!

We should set the whole NCAA up like soccer leagues, except there would obviously be no draw points. Have base conferences for the first year with the 2 top teams being promoted into the champions league for the next year. Then let everyone play it out from that point

I am down with this:
Since this was proposed by a bama fan, I guess this is as good as law.

The 1st is with UNC & VT added: South Pod – Cross Pod Team Alabama - Tennessee Auburn - Georgia Ole Miss - LSU Mississippi State - Vanderbilt West Pod – Cross Pod Team Arkansas - Florida LSU - Ole Miss Missouri - Kentucky Texas A&M - Virginia Tech East Pod – Cross Pod Team Florida - Arkansas Georgia - Auburn Vanderbilt - Mississippi State South Carolina – North Carolina Appalachian Pod – Cross Pod Team Kentucky - Missouri Tennessee - Alabama Virginia Tech - Texas A&M North Carolina – South Carolina

If you base the cross-pod games off of the previous year's finish, you have a far more balanced schedule.
