Lot of interesting stuff for football fans.

It's legal to watch game video and to watch your opponents on the sideline during your game. But it's illegal to advance scout future opponents or possible future opponents live during other games.

To me, one of the standout points is the fact that a lot of teams do this. Connor Stalions was probably the first to get caught because he was the one doing it best - and Michigan probably didn't even need him last year.

Of course, I should probably say teams did this, since the new miked up QB helmets will do away with signals for most teams.

When you know the play, the checkdowns, where tha ball is going, you tend to look better on d than teams that dont.

Michigan didn’t need him so bad that the entire sport changed the rules for sidelines Signals overnight essentially.

This is kind of pulling out of my arse but I feel like Michigan could have that title revoked down the road.

You could be right. But if they're gonna do that, they shoulda kept them outta the playoffs.

I’ve seen dads scout kids games. None of this surprises me.

Very Bill Clinton-like responses from Mr. Stalions.

When Stalions is asked by an NCAA investigator if any Michigan coaches or staff members were aware of the alleged scheme to obtain opponents' signals through in-person advanced scouting, which is banned by the NCAA, he replies, "I did not obtain signals through in-person scouting."

An NCAA investigator then asks Stalions if he ever directed anyone to attend a game in which Michigan wasn't competing. "No, I don't ever recall directing anyone to go to a game," he responds.

In the documentary, Stalions tells the NCAA that "there are some people who attended games using tickets that I purchased and recorded parts of those games." Stalions tells investigators that he didn't recall who recorded the games but would receive film from some of them.

What was interesting to me was Stalions flat out lying on camera when it was obvious what he was doing. I don’t know what somebody makes in his position, but it’s not enough to “gift” 50 yard line seats to big college games all over the country. Even his mom was in on it, so I guess that apple didn’t fall too far from the tree.

The NCAA does not issue national championships in football and have no control over the playoffs.

There is literally nothing the NCAA can do in terms of revoking a title.
