No doubt Miss state plays us much closer with Taylor and their starting tailback ii the game .
Instead it’s 31-0 on the 3rd quarter

Weeks and Tradez out obv hurts LSU
Our two best players.
I’m sure other teams have key players out as well. Part of the games.

With that said … I heard Kiffen say last year at om the way had ONE starter miss ONE game the ENTIRE year.
That’s unbelievable.

Yes …luck plays huge part in teams success.

Anyways , I hope Au has double digit doubtfuls for sat

Man, don't ever hope another team has several doubtfuls. I want to play against a team's best players.

Get used to them because teams are not built anymore they are bought. No school and I mean no school has the money to pay enough quality depth to not suffer a massive drop off if injuries start mounting. It is what it is. This is the system everyone wants in college football or the people would be screaming and demanding the people in charge actually take charge and come up with a reasonable system that makes a little sense.

Yep. And only $12 million for Bryce Underwood. What a bargain for a backup QB.

Say what? Mateer played with a fricked up thumb on his throwing hand last year and we made playoffs. Fully healthy this year and he flat out sucks. Someone needs to close a door on his thumb or something.

All kidding aside I agree its impossible to get traction with key players hurt. OU has that market cornered and its not some fluke thing its every fricking year and mostly on offense. This needs studied.

Preseason depth chart marked up with all the injuries. Im sure there's more I missed too.

Truly unacceptable for this to continue to happen year over year

Yep, and scheduling also plays a role.

Imagine Notre Dame or a random team playing in the Big 10, for example, who have one or two difficult games per year, then roll into the CFP fresh and generally injury free.

Versus a team like Georgia a couple of years ago who were without their starting QB. Or Alabama last season with a first-round draft pick at QB who went into the postseason with a broken rib, a lower back sprain, and elbow bursitis.

This new deal with a nine-game conference schedule and a 24-team playoff that ends in February is going to kill us all.

Didn’t Georgia get a national championship only because Alabama’s best receivers didn’t play in a game?

You don’t play neither do I and really all we care about is the end result which is a W

logic tells me anyways I shouldn’t have to explain it to you

What it sounds to me is you're scared of our team having to play another team's best players. My question is what are you afraid of? Why wouldn't you want to play another team at its best?

You should have the confidence to believe LSU will win. However, I do agree with you that all we care about it that LSU wins.
