I didn’t say anything about that year regarding Alabama or LSU. I just said it does happen all the time in college football. Try again.

That's dumb, it's 100x smarter to knee it out on the goal line instead of punching in a TD in that scenario. By scoring you give the other team the smallest chance with an onside kick or even the possibility of fumbling(like FSU did against us last year). Petrino wasn't doing LSU a favor he was just ending the game instead of risking anything crazy happening.
