LSU's season doesn't revolve around Arkansas like the opposite.

That was also an incorrect statement.

Fullback was much more responsible for LSU's success last year than he was given credit for honestly. Once he went down, LSU's offense wasn't anywhere close to the same.

Moore AND Gordon, the TE, were greatly responsible for Fournette's stats. When they went down, the production at RB suffered.

LSU might have talent and experience, but no more than Georgia, Florida, Tennesee, and Ole Miss

That's debatable.

Here are the 5-year recruiting ranking averages from 24/7:

UA - 1.2
LSU - 5.2
UGA - 9
AU - 9.2
UF - 10.8
A&M - 11
UT - 14
MS - 16.6

Clearly Alabama is stacked. LSU, however, is pretty much alone at about 5, with everyone else bunched up in the 9-11 range.

And the mass exodus of underclassmen for LSU back in 2012 was 4 years ago. They have re-loaded.

It wouldn't surprise me to see LSU go 11-1 with a loss to Bama, but Bama having two losses to maybe UT and USC/AR/OM. I'm not predicting it, but it wouldn't surprise me.

If LSU loses to Bama, the traditional slide will start. Too much emphasis is put on this game by the LSU side, IMO.

If LSU comes out of the Bama game leading the West at 5-1 with Alabama at 4-2, I think having everything still in front of them in November would help keep their focus.

If you come in this thread and try to post any positives, gump will come on in here run your post down.

Its like saying anything positive about a school not Alabama is stating negatives about Alabama.

Not participating in this sham.

Maybe, I've just always hated the post Alabama performances. My three biggest concerns though are QB (obviously), pass protection (LT is a big question, and having 3 different DC's in 3 years. I'm not worried about scheme or talent but mental break downs during the first year of implementation in a new D.

Harris seemed to respond to having Cam on the sidelines coaching him instead of in the booth. The bowl offense was much more wide open.

Anyone looking to the bowl performance against the worst defense of any Power 5 conference team is going to be disappointed. Just because they beat the shite out of Arkansas doesn't mean Texas Tech was anything more than a junior high team. Anybody and everybody can beat Arkansas, except Les Miles.

If that were true, then it should have happened last year when LSU came out of the Alabama game 7-1, ranked 9th and still very much in the CFP picture. Instead, we got arguably the worst home performance of this century the following week against Arkansas.

I've given up on any Les Miles team ever being able to rebound from a loss to Alabama or play worth a shite against Arkansas. Since both are in play this year, like last year, we can forget any hope of even being in the game, let alone winning, in Fayetteville. Until proven wrong, this is the only reasonable expectation.

Alabama and Arkansas are already losses in the books. Among Wisconsin, Florida, Auburn and Ole Miss, I think two other losses are probably likely.

This concerns me as well. I'm wondering how easily Wisconsin recruits adapt to new schemes as opposed to LSU recruits. I do like the 3-4, though, and I'm excited about Aranda, I just hope he doesn't get too complicated too fast.

LSU returns the two deep along the Dline. Key and Bowers can move from their new LB spots to DE rotation on passing downs if needed. Both have multiple starts under their belt. Two deep on the Dline are all Srs and Jrs. VERY EXPERIENCED group.

LB situation will be fine. As of now starting four consists of three Srs and one Soph. Two of the four made most everyone's All SEC team. Backups appear to be Sr, Jr, So and TWO very highly recruited true freshmen that were here in the spring. Might be new system but, top six LBs are all experienced players four have multiple starts under their belt.

All in all tigers lost two players on the front seven two deep, one starter and one backup.

Then there is also the fact LSU brought in the best defensive recruiting class in the SEC/country.

reggie I would think if you have these concerns about the LSU "D" then what ole miss lost must keep you up at night. Or maybe you sleep like a baby. Wake up every three hours crying till someone stuffs something in your mouth for you to suck.

rebs did lose the heart of their "D".

both starting DTs
both starting LBs
both starting safties

That's a lot to replace in this league.

You are one bitter mf. Is there nothing you can't frame negatively? Your entire premise is based on past performance not current depth and team potential. Tigers will not lose four games and could well be formidable in 2016.

Texag7,

So you are saying Bama will be us again until we prove otherwise but you think A&M will win this year dispite never winning against LSU since joining the SEC? I don't see the consistency in your logic. Ahhhh it's "homer logic". Now I get it.

Easy to say because we've lost 5 in a row (2 in heart breaking fashion).

Bama ain't winning in TS this year.

Think I'm in the pessimistic poster category after last year, that really changed my perception of Les (the coach version). Before I was excited about the season anticipating a 1 or 2 loss season. Now, I'm expecting 8-4 or a 9-3 season. I just don't see how this offense is gonna be cohesive when you have a Pro Style coach (Cameron) try to attempt to run a 3-wide Spread-type system (allegedly).

The first game, the first kickoff..

The unknown. I think it would be boring if I expected us to go 12-0.
