So, in summary, BMFP got canned over HR issues and violating his contract. He gave the side piece $20k for sleeping with him - or maybe it was a wedding present?
Then he hired her and violated HR policies because there were 159 applicants for the job she got. The Bawse Jeff Long told the team and other coaches after he told Petrino. Then he gave a press conference announcing all the above. Followed by a Petrino press release obviously written by his agent/publicist, where he apologized, but still managed to sound like a prick. Anything else I missed? My first drink is about gone, contemplating another one....
ETA: And I'll point out that I said the HR stuff is what he'd be fired for all along.
