It's just crazy to have to make those kinds of life-changing decisions so young. I feel for a lot of those kids that get recruited heavily. It may seem like life on easy street, but there's way more to it than meets the eye.
Yeah should've seen me my senior year. Haha, it was actually quite sad. We played 3-A HS Football and our School barely has enough students to be in the division. As far as I know, it's still the same. I was picked as one of the 3-A All State D-Line and my coach sent out game film and a memo about my dedication to the schools he felt would be interested in me, but no one showed up.
That sinking feeling would kill most people, but I just used it as a mode to better myself in something else. It's honestly the only reason I received a full academic scholarship to Alabama, because my work ethic in the classroom was a lot different than on the field. Honestly, it still is.
In the end there is just a part of me that wishes I could've been one of those guys out there on the field in 2009 when I graduated, but I know I do not have the skill set to even match them. All I can do is shrug it off and watch. That's the only thing I hate about being a fan. You have no control over the outcome of a game, even if you know what you could do in that situation, at that point of time, which could change the game.
It's just like reading a damn history book and saying "What if?".

Well tomorrow there will be a memorial set up on the rant dedicated to the Mizzou Kills (Formerly the Zou Animal) and ask that we all share a moment of silence for him. Suggestions for the services?
