Bama has a good argument, and it's as good as anyone's below the 3rd ranking, to why they think they're the 4th best team. Anyone watching CFB's rankings all year can attest to all that, Bama has been #1 and ahead of Ohio St most of the year, if not all year. Does beating a overrated Wisconsin team changed all that suddenly?

Bama been ranked ahead and #1 for most of the year, does a loss @ rivals (Only loss of year) change all that suddenly? Even one of the other teams going to CFB playoffs, Georgia, got smacked @ Auburn, and Auburn's home-field is one of the toughest places to play in CFB, if we're honest about things. CFB world thinks this Bama team has the goods, but I believe that until Bama runs the ball with authority, they won't win a national title with Hurt;s at QB, but that's another story. Clemson or Oklahoma would smoke Bama, with Bama's offesive identity right now. Bama -vs- Georgia would be great game and could go either way. Bama would beat Ohio St, even with that crappy offensive game-plan, that's why Bama is #4...

Saban was on point with every point he made, especially about the committee stating conference championship don't mean anything, when deciding the 4 teams last year. Since the committee decided to put Ohio St. over Big 10 champ Penn St. last season. That Penn St. team even beat that Ohio St. team, and Penn St, didn't even get opportunity. It'd been one thing if both Ohio St. and Penn St, made playoffs, but that didn't happen.

I would hate for my team to have a reasonable argument for being in the playoffs every year. It must be horrible.
