Belle you ever work with kids that are 7-8 years old? Do you think they can catch on to Skip Bo? I want to use it as tool teach focus and awareness.

I am playin Gin with High School kids. They actually like it. But I know the smaller ones couldn't get on that level. If any kid beats me in session I buy them a orange juice. Haven't had to spend money yet

I used to teach the kids at the youth shelter I worked at how to play chess. That seemed to be something most all of them could do, even the younger ones.

My uncle taught me how to play when I was 8 or 9. He is really, really good and always beat me badly. I played him to a stalemate one day and felt like I had just won a world championship.

that would be like a 5 hour drive....
You can make your own, it's easy. 2 cups self rising flour, third cup vegetable oil, tablespoon of sugar and a cup of sour milk. Oven at 450 for 18 min and you're good to go.
