Cam left for the NFL right after he won the Heisman, and Tebow is not a realistic example to compare any college student to. What JM is going through has never happened before.

There have been plenty of Heisman winners who have controlled themselves just fine.

Tebow
Ingram
Bradford
White
Bush

None of them were as wheels off.

Also there were others who were pretty big celebs even though they didn't win the Heisman:

McCoy
McCarron
Richardson
Peterson
I am sure there are plenty more. All of them could have partied balls for all I know, they just were not as in you face with it as Manziel is.

Cam left Auburn right after he won the Heisman. Situation is nowhere the same. Tebow is closer but he didn't get heavy scrutiny as fast as Johnny did at all.

The kid can't help that people snap pictures of him anytime he tries to go anywhere. I don't expect the kid to become a shut-in, so I have no problem with what he's doing. I have a problem with the people taking pictures of him and the TMZ media culture constantly reporting on it. Could you imagine if Matt Leinart had played during this era?

Manziel isn't special

I don't care who else does it, I am just saying everyone that doesn't get to wants to. And he is special, whether you want to acknowledge it or not. He won the Heisman. Haters gonna hate.
