I guess I more or less just dislike the way the NBA presents it's play.

I can agree with that. David Stern has ruined the NBA by favoring superstars over solid teams. Can't blame him for capilatizling, but it saddens me just the same.

I just get frustrated at the lack of fundamentals of NBA players. They rarely play defense and they play show boat ball. I say it's ruined it cause all players are thinking about now is getting to the NBA instead of finding a college team to play for. Coaches in high schools don't teach fundamentals cause they find a talented player and just let the players play around him. It's completely negated the team concept of basketball. This is all my opinion though.

You're talking to someone that could have been born fifty years ago and fit in just the same. I use a computer well enough to do basic work and post on simple message boards and that's it.

About 10 years ago the NBA got really sloppy and really boring.

CBB is headed there.

And yes, AAU does not help, when we focus more on physical abilities rather than fundamentals, along with college coaches cow towing to players, and allowing them to play with no fundamentals, we get what we have today.

However, if college refs would call fouls, and traveling, we'd get back to good fundamental basketball.

I can use a computer well at times. I'm no expert, but I can navigate fairly easily. BTW if you don't like screamo, I doubt you'll like that song

I don't and I didn't try. I'm listening to Guy Clark (Country-folk) right now.

Can the NCAA step in and do something about AAU? If not, there has to be something that can be done?

If I can't watch SA, I like to watch NBA teams that don't have as many personalities/superstars. Loved watching Philly and Indiana last year. Those teams usually can't afford show boat ball so they're more enjoyable to watch for true hoops lovers.

I have just turned to watching mid-major teams. They usually play fundamentally sound ball.

I won't get interested. I've already given nearly every sub genre a shot. The ones I like are the ones I still listen to.

I understand. I'm big on the underground stuff. Began hating mainstream music about 4 years ago.

I miss the NBA of my youth with Jordan and Co. Today's game is missing something that I can't quite put my finger on that they had back then.

Nope.

"Duke football?

Hell yes it's Duke football!!!!"

"That should be unsportsmanlike like in my opinion, but that's my opinion."

"I'm gonna go get their attention right now."

Someone, please hire David Cutcliffe.
