I've got some replyin' to do!
First, to Coastie:
That's cool, and a good-faith gesture to let rival fans anywhere near a collection that probably means a great deal to him.
And to semo:
Just make fun of their yell leaders when they do this.
Every post does involve Alabama, as it should. It's just that lately, it's been in a more indirect way (i.e., Arkansas fans using Alabama's accomplishments against LSU fans to hilarious results (and even a little vice-versa))
And to Coastie (again):

HBT and I have known RedElephants for 2 years. He came to the last LSU / Bama game in BR and has come down once since to hang out and go out with us. He is cool as hell.
I'm sure there is more.

See, that's had me stuck between a rock and a hard place in a strange kind of way.
In one regard, I was kind of hoping Oklahoma would have joined the SEC also. That way when rival fans start yapping like little toy dogs at us when 'historically significant program' topics come up, we could deflect them to the Soontards.
On the flip side of the coin, if Tennessee would hold up their end of the fricking bargain, we could deflect some of it to them.
It's tough being this damn awesome sometimes.

It is kinda of sad that UT has sucked for this long. I mean on one hand I love it, on the other i feel bad for their fans and miss the rivalry. it's kinda went down hill since they haven't beat us in what 2,010 days ?

I don't really care for basketball though, so I'm really just speaking for myself.
Look at our attendance for baseball vs basketball and you will see what I'm talking about. Football is the main sport here. I'm talking about the 2nd biggest sport.

Yeah... the amount of joy I get in Tennessee sucking has really hit a dropoff simply because the Third Saturday has, ever since I was little, been so significant to me.
When it starts to become boring, it's really actually heartbreaking in a way. 2009 was like nirvana.
