Most of the pics were taken after I finished the pergola yesterday and stained it.

When we were at RedElephant's apts for the Bama game, the security guard was a bitch. He said we were throwing beer cans all over. (Just because they were purple and gold bud light cans he assumed it was us
). He watched us like criminals. I wanted to steal the big blow up Big Al they had but that bitch stayed parked in front of it until we left so we couldn't frick with it.

Yeah, I posted in it. My new image macro which I'm disproportionately proud of.

Nice job on the pergola and everything. We have a pergola that was built by a previous owner and I'm debating on whether to year it down and start from new or just patch and replace.
It was built so poorly.
Wood was not treated or painted with outdoor paint so that's peeling, they didn't drill holes before screwing it together so the top part split, since it was treated its starting to rot in certain places, the top boards are 2x2's and the center isn't even supported with the rest of the design, and the only support is about and inch of concrete around the base of the four support poles.

I know of a few places that have a-hole security. I almost got into a fight with the rent a cop at Crimson Place for booting my truck.

There was one beer can under the truck. He made my friend crawl under there and get it. He was like "I know you Luuusiaana people like to party but we dont litter in Alabauhama".

That elephant would be swinging like a piñata at Mudgate this November if we could have gotten it.

Yeah, I used a nail gun except for the very top 2x4's. I screwed them in. And bar membership is come over and help me stain/sealed it every year.
I used concrete anchor (through bolts) with a 4X4 bracket. And anchored part of it to the brick wall. That sumofa bitch is sturdy.
