Unfortunately, my job makes me live in Orlando. They pay me much more than they should, though, so whatever. You're about 45 minutes east or west from a beach, though.

There are still a lot of nice areas around Orlando, but the urban sprawl has ruined a lot of it.

And what’s up with every Texan having to tell us they’re from Texas to start the conversation? Nobody gives a frick if you're from Texas or not. Texas sucks arse compared to Florida and Colorado, that’s why y’all visit our states so much, and you know it. Y’all got nice mountains? No. You got nice beaches? No. You got a bunch of dudes who live in big cities, wear cowboy hats, and pretend y’all are out in the old west. That shits just fricking weird and hilarious to everyone else. And by hilarious, I mean we are laughing at you.

Colorado is a great state. I have family there. They don’t seem to mind Texans up there, mostly because Colorado is a transplant state too. Good job on the weed legalizing, my stocks are doing well.

solid responses. I’m just bein honest, most people I meet here really don’t like y’all. I usually end up standing up for Texas and a lot of the south out here, because I understand y’all and there’s a lot of good peeps from there. It’s just not my cup of tea in Texas. And yea it’s pretty annoying when someone starts a conversation, with a prideful stance on where they’re from. I’ll admit it bothers me. When I meet someone and the first thing they say is “well I’m from Texas..” I’m kinda like what the frick is that supposed to mean to me?
Colorado’s has great mountains, and it’s a trade off with Florida to me. Florida’s got the beaches, but it’s flat, while Colorado has mountains but not much water. I get the best of both worlds by living here and having friends and fams in Florida.
I wasn’t even gonna bother responding to your last part of that post, but because it’s such a trashy bait and hook Ill just say.. I don’t where cowboy hats, unless I’m at a country concert down south, which hasn’t been for many years. As far as my children go, I think they’ll end up better than yours, which probably won’t take much.
