Belle are you someone that cooks a lot? If so, what is easier route: baked linguine, Shepherds pie, or slow cook a roast or something?
Pot roast in a slow cooker. Just toss a roast, beef stock, salt, pepper, garlic, a bay leaf, potatoes, carrots, and onions in the pot and leave it on low for 7 or 8 hours.

I'm thinking he ends up drying it out.

CatGal you told me you didn't cook and I trust Belle on this one more than you

The roast would probably be better. The last guy I knew that couldn't for shite that tried to fix one ended up with something just short of beef jerky though.

I don't cook often because I don't have to. I am an excellent cook when I decide to do so.

Then do the roast. And make sure you take out the bay leaf before eating.

Beef stock. Or dark beer. Or a little of both.

I can never find raspberries around here that look that good.

Publix here. There isn't one in Lexington. Not sure if there's on in the 'Ville.

I just don't have chuck or round roast but had pork and ground beef.
I may cheat get veg all Country Croc Mashed potatoes and Heinz gravy and bake it as a pie for hour.
That maybe easiest since I've got ground beef.
I have linguine Paul Newman Sockarooni and cottage cheese also.

Just Kroger. There is a wholesale supplier for some of the restaurants here that you can order through. I may start doing that instead.

You can make it for just as cheap on your own, and it will taste better.
