One of my professors in undergrad told us a story about how Russian customs looked at her papers, realized she would illegally be in the country if she missed her flight out of St. Petersburg, and started slowly and deliberately going through her things until she gave them a few hundred dollars worth of their currency.

I absolutely love it. I like St. Pete better than Moscow. I'm plotting a trip to the Olympics in Sochi next year. I'm going to back to Ukraine the 1st of June with the gf. She's only been to Peru.
